As a little girl, I was a book lover (I still am however, being a mom makes it sort of difficult). I believe that there are so many benefits to reading such as building your creativity skill. I try to instill my love of reading to my kids by reading to them daily.
The Christmas book advent was something I stumbled upon on social media. As I seen many homeschooling mothers getting prepared on the night of November 30th, I messaged one of them to futher explain her doing. What sparked me the most about this advent is, that on Christmas Day you end the Christmas book advent by reading The Birth of Jesus from the Bible.
It took me a while to gather the supplies and books but I was eager to begin a new Christmas tradition with my family!

12.) Matthew 2:1-23 (or Luke 2:1-21)
To prepare for this advent, each book was wrapped in christmas wrapping so that the child selecting and unwrapping would be surprised. All the books were kept together in a large wooden box that I purchased from Amazon.ca.
