It seems that cradle cap is very common for babies to develop when they are infants. All four of my kids had cradle cap whether being breastfed or bottle fed, and with some being mild than others. Unfortunately, Magnus (my fourth) has the most stubborn cradle cap out of all of them. The technique that I used on all three of my kids, was too weak to combat his cradle cap.

It was at Rexall that I seen the Flake Fixer by Baby Frida. In the past, I have used other products by Baby Frida such as NoseFrida (https://amzn.to/3vDAwB4) which is another must-have.

The first step that I do when tackling my child’s cradle cap is applying coconut oil on the head and letting it sit for one hour. Next, I set up the baby’s bath and gather the towel and outfit, along with a new diaper for afterwards. The last and final step is to begin washing the baby.

The DermaFrida Flake Fixer has three steps: 1). lather the baby’s head with shampoo by using the soft sponge, 2). brush (this is the softest brush I have ever felt) and 3). comb the baby’s hair back. I really enjoyed how the comb is designed with a curve to comb along the baby’s head. Two cool features about this product is that the sponge can be attached to the back of the brush and can become one tool. The second is that, it comes with a stand for the tools - to keep it all together in an organized manner. By the end of the bath, Magnus’ scalp was the cleanest and completely cradle cap-free!

TL;DR: This product is worth every dollar and I wish I had this since the beginning of motherhood!
